Our goal was to promote HBO GO, the VoD service of HBO and to increase the number of users and of those who try out the service for the first time.
We communicated the message „Wherever. Whenever” on Port.hu, a leading online program guide. We created a virtual channel on the site, fitting into the content (TV program section). The virtual channel displayed the films available via HBO GO in a similar way as the programs of traditional channels are displayed on the site. We emphasized the 24/7 availability, which means that we presented HBO GO in the same way as traditional competitors but showing it as the complete opposite of them (VoD vs. linear programing).
Our native solution resulted in 100,000 CTR and thousands of registrations. Since then, Port.hu uses it as a best practice, and we also reached the shortlist of Hipnózis, a major creative competition in Hungary.
