We launched DotCommerceDay as a movement in 2010 to celebrate online shopping. Our aim is to publicize time and environment friendly online shopping along with secure and cashless digital payment methods. On DotcommerceDay, every year hundreds of webshops make special offers available via www.internetesvasarlasnapja.hu. In addition to Neo Interactive as organizer, MasterCard and Telenor give special support as main sponsors, and this year we also have Magyar Posta (Hungarian Post) as sponsor.
This year we have two major novelties:
-We revamped our site based on previous years' feedbacks, changing media consumption habits and the rise of mobile.
-SzEK.org, the trade body for Hungarian e-commerce player joined our project as official partner. It also means that we put more emphasis on educational content related to e-commerce and online shopping.
We also have a special project that we launched for the second consecutive year: DotCommerceWeek (www.internetesvasarlashete.hu) is the week leading up DotCommerceDay and featuring special offers and information related to online banking and cashless digital paying methods.
